Missed calls are missed customers.
When you're with a customer, on a job or closed for the night, the phone goes to voicemail. Many callers don't leave a message. They just call the next business.
Hiring someone to answer every call costs a lot. And nobody can answer at 9pm on a Sunday.
An AI receptionist picks up for you, answers common questions, books the appointment and lets you know what happened.

Common questions.
Will it sound like a robot?
It sounds like a calm, friendly person, but it's still AI, and some callers will notice. It says up front that it's a virtual assistant, and it can pass the call to you any time.
What if it gets something wrong?
It only answers from the information you give it. If it doesn't know, it takes a message instead of guessing. You see a summary of every call, so mistakes are easy to spot and fix.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep your number. We forward calls to the receptionist when you want it to answer, like after hours or when you don't pick up.
Can it reach me for urgent calls?
Yes. You decide what counts as urgent, like a burst pipe or a patient in pain, and it transfers those calls straight to you.
Are there usage fees for call minutes?
Calls and texts have a small usage cost from the phone provider. It's either passed through at cost or included up to a limit. Your proposal spells out the exact terms.
